The initial intention of this process is to staff various positions within the National Capital Region, in Ottawa. A pool of partially qualified candidates will be established and used to staff positions in the various regions identified within Public Services and Procurement Canada.

EDUCATION:
E1. Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in human resources management, labour or industrial relations, psychology, public or business administration, organizational development, education sciences, social sciences, sociology, or in any other field relevant to the work to be performed.
EXPERIENCE:
EXP1. Significant experience* providing labour relations services.
Could include activities related to providing advice to clients, interpreting and applying collective agreements, grievance process, collective bargaining, disciplinary investigation, etc.
EXP2. Experience in handling complaints and administrative investigations in the workplace.
► If you apply to a PE-03 position, significant experience will be evaluated according to the range of labour relations services and their relevance. This experience is normally acquired during a period of two (2) years.
► If you apply to a PE-04 position, significant experience will be evaluated according to the range of labour relations services and their relevance. This experience is normally acquired during a period of four (4) years.

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS:
AEXP1. Experience delivering corporate services in human resources, such as, but not limited to, adjudications, Canadian Human Right complaints and National Joint Council grievance.
AEXP2. Experience interpreting directives, policies, legislation and collective agreements related to labour relations in the Federal Public Service.
AEXP3. Experience in writing documents for management to guide decision-making (disciplinary reports, grievance precis, briefing notes, fact-finding or administrative investigation reports, etc.).
AEXP4. Experience in offering labour relations advice in a parapublic or municipal, federal or provincial government organization.
