While the Courts Administration Service pays their employees through Phoenix, we have in-house Compensation services which includes direct access to a Compensation Advisor in Ottawa for timely resolution of any pay issues that arise.
The Courts Administration Service (CAS) provides services to the Federal Court of Appeal, the Federal Court, the Court Martial Appeal Court of Canada and the Tax Court of Canada.

A pool of pre-qualified or fully qualified candidates may be created to staff similar or identical positions with various tenure, various linguistic profiles and security requirements within the Courts Administration Service.

At minimum, a successful completion of secondary school diploma according to provincial/territorial standards or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience.
Significant* experience providing administrative/clerical support such as, but not limited to, filing, reception duties, travel arrangements, controlling documentation flow, data input.
Experience in providing service to clients.
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. MS Word, Excel, Outlook etc.) or equivalent.
Definition:
*Significant refers to the breadth and depth of experience and is defined as a combination of time spent doing the activity, as well as type (range, scope, and complexity) of work handled related to the experience criteria.
Experience in performing receptionist functions.
Experience in performing mailroom functions.
Experience working in an administrative environment (e.g. Finance, Human Resources).
Experience working for the Courts Administration Service.
Experience working in a judicial, quasi-judicial or legal environment**.
** Judicial or quasi-judicial environment means a Federal Board, Commission, Tribunal or Court (Federal, Provincial or Municipal).
