You are required to complete screening questions that clearly demonstrate how you meet the essential criteria of education and experience and any asset education and asset experience if applicable. Your response must include HOW (concrete examples), WHEN (dates) and WHERE (location of work) you meet the essential criteria required. Intent of the process

The intent of the selection process is to create an inventory of qualified bilingual candidates at the GS-STS-06 (SAT-06) level.

The inventory of qualified candidates will be use to staff various positions of varying tenures, including term and indeterminate appointments, with Bilingual Imperative BBB/BBB linguistic profile and RCMP Top Secret security level within the RCMP in the National Capital Region.

Should a Civilian Member (CM) be found qualified and selected for appointment prior to May 21, 2020 (deeming date), the appointment will not result in a change of status to the Public Service (PS) category for the CM. Furthermore, CM staffing transactions resulting from this process will be administered in accordance with the Onboarding Transition Phase until deeming day.

Your résumé.

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

Successful completion of two years of secondary school or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience

Degree equivalency

Experience in procurement (acquiring quotes, processing orders & receiving goods)

Experience with inventory control (maintaining stock of supplies & equipment)

Experience providing customer service in a warehouse setting

Experience in using computer software applications, such as but not limited to, MS Word, MS Excel or MS Outlook

If you possess any of the following, your application must also clearly explain how you meet it (other qualifications)

Willingness and ability to work variable 10 hour shifts (days, evenings, nights and weekends)

Must be able to lift 20kg in accordance with safe lifting practices

Willing and able to work overtime, as needed, sometimes on short notice

Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license

Experience working in a warehouse for at least six (6) months during the past five (5) years

Experience using computerized warehouse and inventory management systems

RCMP Top Secret security clearance

Candidates selected for appointment will have to obtain and maintain an RCMP Security Clearance. This process requires a Security/Reliability Interview, a field investigation in matters of criminal activities, credit/finances, education, employment, references, etc.
