We are committed to providing an inclusive and barrier-free work environment, starting with the hiring process. If you need to be accommodated during any phase of the evaluation process, please use the Contact information below to request specialized accommodation. All information received in relation to accommodation will be kept confidential.
When you apply to this selection process, you are not applying for a specific job, but to an inventory for future vacancies. As positions become available, applicants who meet the qualifications may be contacted for further assessment.
PLEASE NOTE, WE WILL ONLY ACCEPT ON-LINE APPLICATIONS RECEIVED VIA THE Canada.ca SITE. Persons with disabilities preventing them from applying on-line are asked to contact 1-800-645-5605.
Not all locations listed on this advertisement will be hiring at this time (staffing is anticipatory).
When a manager has a vacancy for a specific location, they may request a number of random referrals to consider for their position(s). If there are qualified persons in the inventory pool, they may consider those already assessed. Once a candidate has been assessed, and found qualified, they will be placed into the pool of qualified persons and may be referred for future permanent or temporary vacancies.
***NOTE***
Please do not apply for locations where you are not prepared to physically relocate. Failure to follow these instructions may impact your candidacy for appointments. It is the candidate’s responsibility to research the locations, housing etc. prior to indicating it as a desired location for work and to update any changes to desired work location in your profile. Note that some work locations may be considered an Isolated Posting. For more information, please visit: https://www.njc-cnm.gc.ca/directive/d4/v237/s624/en
Your application in this inventory will be active for 180 days. A notice that your application is about to expire will be posted to the My Jobs menu of your account 30 days before the end of your active period. If you do not take action, your application will no longer be active and therefore no longer considered for this inventory. Should your application become inactive while the process is still open, a notice will be posted to your account indicating that your application has expired; you may select the link Update my Inventory Status to reaffirm your interest.
When submitting an application to this selection process, you will be prompted to answer screening questions concerning the essential education, and the essential and asset experience qualifications. It is your responsibility to respond fully to each question. Should you indicate in your response "please refer to CV/resume" OR you cut and paste the identical response in any of your responses your application will be rejected. Your responses MUST BE limited to no more than two short paragraphs. Content of your response must be supported by your CV/resume as your responses to these questions will be used as a primary source of information and your CV/resume will only be used to validate this information. Any response you provide may be required to be validated by a reference.
Any or all of the asset qualifications, operational requirements, and organizational needs may be used for the screening of applications. If you meet these criteria, please clearly demonstrate how you meet them in writing. Provide examples and describe the work/duties you have performed. Failure to do so may result in your application not being considered further during the screening process.
Original proof of your education will be requested and must be provided during the selection process, in order to verify that candidates meet the education requirement. Candidates who are unable to provide proof that they meet this essential qualification as requested may be eliminated from the process.
