This job posting is part of a speed staffing initiative. What does this mean? Depending on the number of successful applicants, a second evaluation session may take place on SATURDAY, MARCH 21, 2020 in DORVAL, QC. This is an anticipatory process with the intent to establish a pool of fully- or partially-qualified candidates to fill future staffing needs. This pool of candidates may be used to staff similar positions of various tenures (casual employment, term or indeterminate) at Transport Canada, Quebec Region.

EDUCATION
High School diploma.
EXPERIENCE
Recent and significant experience* providing administrative or clerical support services for a team or a manager in an office environment in at least two of the following tasks: word processing, data entry, preparing correspondence, organizing meeting or making business travel arrangements.
Experience providing client services delivery in person or by telephone or in writing.
Experience using spreadsheet, word processing and email software.
* Recent and significant experience means two (2) consecutive years in the last five (5) years.

EDUCATION
Diploma of collegial studies (DCS) or Attestation of collegial studies (ACS) or Diploma of vocational studies (DVS) in the field of administration or office automation/technology.
EXPERIENCE
Experience preparing correspondence and reports.
Experience providing support services in finance or accounting.
Experience in business travel support services such as making travel arrangements, preparing itineraries, and processing travel claims.
Experience using Microsoft PowerPoint.
Experience organizing meetings.

- Note that the evaluation will ONLY be carried out at the location mentioned.
- Allow the full day for the second language tests, the written exercise and the interview.
- Depending on the number of successful applicants, a second evaluation session could take place on SATURDAY, MARCH 21, 2020 in DORVAL, QC. For this reason, you should tentatively be available on March 14 and 21, 2020.
- Further details regarding the evaluation day will follow for those who succeed the screening stage.
A random selection draw or the application of an asset qualification may be used to manage the volume of applications.
Alternate assessment dates will only be possible under the following circumstances:
· Medical reason with doctor's certificate;
· Death in the immediate family;
· Professional obligation (proof required);
· Confirmation of pre-approved travel plans; or
· Religious reasons.
