(CR-04) Case & Subject Records Clerk:
The Case & Subject Records Clerk is responsible for analyzing, encoding and filing the documents received while ensuring that they are complete . He is also responsible for analyzing, creating, processing, and transferring physical and electronic case files. The Clerk will verify the sound recordings. He will be responsible for processing mail sent and received.
(CR-04) Case Review Clerk:
The Case Review Clerk is responsible for processing applications, waivers, withdrawals and postponements of parole. The Case Review Clerk is also responsible for forwarding electronic documents to Board Members and the Correctional Service and for reviewing the reasons for decision, making the necessary corrections in the computer system, and finalizing and sharing the decision with the offender. The Case Review Clerk performs a variety of clerical duties, including data entry, compilation of statistics and various administrative services.
(CR-04) Communications Clerk:
The Communications Clerk is responsible for providing services such as: e-mails, phone calls, etc. regarding parole, record suspensions and victim services, as well as coordinating the regional Hearing Observer Program. The Communications Clerk is responsible for maintaining an electronic database of victims, producing and processing statistics coordinated with case files, and distributing public education materials. The Communications Clerk also supports the communications team by providing the necessary clerical support.
(CR-05) Assistant, Corporate Services:
The Regional Corporate Services Assistant provides extensive financial services. He is responsible, in particular, for analyzing and processing financial transactions, including commitments, contracts, travel requests and reimbursement of travel expenses and accounts payables. He is also responsible for managing reservations for the organization's fleet of vehicles and for follow-up on vehicle maintenance.

The immediate need is to staff four (4) full-time indeterminate positions: two (2) CR-04 positions as a Case & Subject Records Clerk, one (1) CR-04 position as a Case Review Clerk, one (1) position CR-05 as an Assistant Corporate Services.
The intent of this process is also to establish a pool of qualified candidates for future vacant positions. The pool will be used to staff positions on a permanent (indeterminate) or temporary basis (acting, specified period appointment, assignment, secondment or casual) within the Parole Board of Canada in the Montreal Region. The linguistic profile and tenure may vary depending on the position being staffed.

EDUCATION

A secondary school diploma or employer-approved alternatives (see Note 1).
1- The employer-approved alternatives to a secondary school diploma are:
- A satisfactory score on the Public Service Commission test approved as an alternative to a secondary school diploma; or
- An acceptable combination of education, training or experience.
EXPERIENCES

- Experience in providing administrative support services in a client-service oriented work environment.
- Experience in the use of word processing, spreadsheet and e-mail software, such as Word, Excel and Outlook, but not limited to.

EDUCATION

Post-secondary diploma related to the duties of the position such as, office systeme technology, administration, paralegal studies or other related studies.
EXPERIENCES
CR-04 POSITIONS ONLY:
- Experience in using PowerPoint.
- Experience in the field of document and records management such as: filing, creating files, record-keeping, document processing, file or document retrieval, application of file retention and disposal schedules or file archiving.
- Experience in providing administrative or clerical support services related to Case Management.
- Working experience in a correctional or legal environment.
CR-05 POSITION ONLY:
- Experience using a financial system.
- Experience in the use of Shared Travel Services System (STS)
- Experience in planning and organizing travel arrangements.
- Experience verifying travel claims.
OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

- Willingness and ability to work overtime.
CR-04 POSITIONS ONLY:
- Be able to examine documents that may contain disturbing or offensive information.
Reliability Status security clearance
CR-05 POSITION ONLY:

- Willingness and ability to travel by car in a urban sector for vehicule fleet management.
