We’ve identified the five (5) experience criteria we’re looking for and we’re leaving it up to you as to how you would like to demonstrate them. Get creative, and have fun! Send us a video, a telegram or maybe a link to your blog… it’s up to you to decide how you want to demonstrate how you meet the education and experience criteria.

PCO is dedicated to building an inclusive workforce with a diversity of experiences, perspectives and backgrounds that represents Canada now and in the future. In order to achieve this goal, we strongly encourage you to indicate if you belong to one of the designated groups (women, people with disabilities, aboriginal peoples and visible minorities). We are passionate about fostering a workplace where all people feel welcome and can reach their full potential.
The people we are looking for are driven to go above and beyond for the team, they are dedicated to delivering quality administrative service and support.
On any given day, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of tasks and develop your skills in many areas. You will work to build relationships, have the chance to collaborate with talented people and develop a rich network of colleagues with different backgrounds.
The Privy Council Office is the hub of non-partisan, public service support to the Prime Minister and Cabinet and its decision-making structures.
Led by the Clerk of the Privy Council, PCO helps the Government implement its vision and respond effectively and quickly to issues facing the government and the country.
Because it is a small department of less than 1000 employees, you have the chance to work with all sub-delegated managers (including Deputy Ministers) and the opportunity to develop in-depth organizational awareness.
A partially qualified pool will be created to staff similar positions within the Privy Council Office with various language requirements (bilingual imperative BBB/BBB, CBC/CBC, CCC/CCC), various tenures and various security requirements. The pool of partially qualified candidates may also be open to other Government Departments.
