We are located at Place Bell situated at 160 Elgin Street, an office complex in downtown Ottawa and next to the Rideau Canal and the Rideau Shopping Centre. This location offers easy access to restaurants, fitness facilities, walking/running paths and parks. We are conveniently located close to public transportation and highways making it easy to commute from all points across the city. The Public Prosecution Service of Canada (PPSC) prosecutes criminal offenses under federal jurisdiction. The organization has approximately 1000 employees who each play a key role in strengthening the Canadian criminal justice system.
As an Internal Audit Project Leader, you will be an integral member of a small team of internal auditing professionals that in addition to providing assurance on governance, risk management and controls, has focused its efforts on building relationships with senior management in order to be viewed as a valued advisor. You will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment that is highly supportive of professional development and training as well as work life balance.
The immediate need is to staff one position indeterminately. A pool of qualified candidates may be established from this process and may be used to staff similar positions with varying tenures.

Essential Education:
• Degree from a recognized post-secondary institution.
Essential Experience:
• 2+ years of experience acquired within the last 5 years conducting or leading audits at all stages.
• 2+ years of experience supervising the work of staff (this includes reviewing the work of subordinates or external resources such as consultants, subject matter experts).
• Experience acquired within the last 5 years presenting audit findings and audit recommendations to management (Team Leader or above).
Asset Experience:
• Experience conducting audits at all stages within the federal government.
• Experience conducting follow-ups for the implementation of management action plans.
• Experience in data analytics.
