We are located at 160 Elgin Street, Ottawa, Ontario (walking distance to the Rideau Canal). The recently renovated building is located in downtown Ottawa, where you will find various restaurants and easily accessible public transit all within walking distance. There are exercise classes and training facility in the building, as well as some great walking and biking trails nearby.
The Agency’s intent is to staff three (3) positions on an indeterminate basis. The positions are bilingual, with language requirements at the advanced (CBC/CBC) or intermediate level (BBB) and require a Secret clearance. A pool of qualified candidates may also be created to staff similar positions at the EC-06 group and level on an indeterminate basis or for a specified period (acting, specified period appointment, assignment or secondment), with various linguistic profiles within the Agency.

EDUCATION:
- Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in economics, sociology or statistics.
Note: Candidates must always have a degree. The courses for the specialization must be acceptable and may have been taken at a recognized post-secondary institution, but not necessarily within a degree program in the required specialization. The specialization may also be obtained through an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
EXPERIENCE:
EX1 – Experience* in environmental/impact assessment, or policy or law related to the environment or natural resources.
EX2 – Experience** in analyzing, synthesizing, developing options and making recommendations on public policy matters.
EX3 – Experience*** in stakeholder, interdepartmental, intergovernmental or international engagement or negotiation.
