EDUCATION
Secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training, and experience.
CERTIFICATION
One of the following:
- Valid provincial electrical construction and maintenance Certificate of Qualification (C of Q)
- Canadian Fire Alarm Association (CFAA)
- Electrical or Electronics diploma from accredited institution with at a minimum of 5 years’ experience related to electrical maintenance programs.
EXPERIENCE
Experience in managing maintenance contracts.
Experience in the installation and maintenance of commercial or industrial electrical systems*
Experience in providing technical recommendations on building systems related to commercial or industrial electrical systems*
*Such as: fire alarm, emergency generator, high or low voltage distribution serving office or special purpose facilities.
English essential
Information on language requirements
KNOWLEDGE
Knowledge of installation, operation and maintenance of commercial or industrial electrical systems.
Knowledge of codes or standards to Electrical Systems.
ABILITIES
Ability to interpret technical drawings
Ability to analyse and solve problems

Willingness and ability to travel to areas served
by the National Capital Area office.
Willingness and ability to work overtime
as required, on short notice.
