• Issue fishing licences to Indigenous communities or Indigenous commercial fisheries.
• Act as a point of contact for bands, commercial fishing enterprises (CFEs) and aggregate groups (AGs) by providing advice and responding to requests.
• Act as a point of contact for agreement recipients for issues regarding the processing of financial transactions relating to these programs.
• Monitor progress regarding grants and contribution agreements by analyzing progress reports submitted by recipients for funded activities.
• Provide administrative services for integrated program management, including financial management as well as planning and logistics for DFO meetings with bands and First Nations CFEs and AGs.
The position to staff is located in Gaspe (Quebec). Applicants who will qualify in this selection process must be willing to relocate.
A pool of qualified candidates may be established in order to staff a similar position in Sept-Iles (Quebec). and at Fisheries and Oceans Canada in the Quebec Region for various locations and requiring various linguistic and security profiles.

Education
Graduation with a degree from a recognized university in a field relevant to the position.
