Our mandate is to modernize, secure, and support critical IT programs and services for Canadians. Procurement and Vendor Relations (PVR) is the procurement directorate for Shared Services Canada. From its creation 7 years ago, PVR has grown into a large and innovative procurement organization with 4 divisions working in support of SSC’s IT mandate.

EDUCATION

ED1: A degree or diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution or an acceptable combination* of education, training and/or experience in a field relevant to the position.

*An acceptable combination must include a secondary school diploma and work experience in the field of contracting, procurement, and/or asset management normally acquired over a period of 1 year.

EXPERIENCES

EXP1: Experience providing guidance to clients on the use of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, such as but not limited to SAP or a Procurement system such as Procure-to-Pay (P2P);

EXP2: Experience as a member of a multidisciplinary project team involved in the implementation or support or configuration of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, such as but not limited to SAP or a Procurement system such as Procure-to-Pay (P2P).

ABILITY

A1: Ability to analyze and solve problems.
