WHAT? Unilingual and bilingual Senior Human Resources (HR) Assistants. You will be coordinating and providing administrative and program support to HR programs in the areas of Staffing, Labour Relations and Classification. You will be preparing, reviewing and processing supporting documents related to one or more of the HR program areas. You will also maintain and update HR management Information Systems and ensure data integrity and quality. HOW?

STEP 2: Do you have what it takes? Prepare your résumé. Ensure that the essential education and experience we are asking for is reflected in your résumé.

HINT: Indicate the month and year during which you obtained an education/experience criteria. Example: Use November 2018 to November 2019. Do not use 2018 to 2019 because to us that could mean one day, 12 months or anything in between. So if we have to guess, well, you know.
ANOTHER HINT: Pay careful attention to word counts where asked. Example: For this process, you will be asked to answer one written question using 300-500 words and complete sentences as part of your application. Your response will be used to evaluate not only the “Respectful of Diversity” criteria but also your “Ability to Communicate Effectively in Writing”. We need a sufficient amount of text to determine if you meet these criteria. Anything under what we are asking simply won’t cut it.
STEP 4: Prepare yourself for the assessment phase. You will be asked for your proof of citizenship and proof of education. If you do not have them, now is that time to start looking for them.

This collective staffing process will be used to fill immediate and future vacancies. Once the immediate vacancies have been filled, applicants who meet the essential qualifications will be contacted as positions become available.
Interviews for this process will be completed via pre-recorded video interviews. • Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in human resources management, labour or industrial relations, psychology, public or business administration, organizational development, education sciences, social sciences, sociology, or in any other field relevant to the work to be performed
