The immediate intention of this process is to staff one indeterminate position. A pool of fully or partially qualified candidates may also be established to staff identical or similar positions within Elections Canada with various tenures (e.g. indeterminate, various specified periods) and a bilingual imperative linguistic profile CBC/CBC.

Your résumé.
Graduation with a degree from a recognized university with a specialization in social sciences, database management, statistics, information technology, business administration, or another field related to the position being filled.
Experience in researching and analyzing issues and providing strategic recommendations
Experience in building and maintaining collaborative relationships
Significant* experience in managing human resources in at least one of the following contexts:
o Multi-disciplinary team
o Team of professional and/or technical staff
o Complex** project or initiative
Significant* experience in developing, implementing or managing strategies or initiatives in at least three of the following aspects of data programs:
o Defining requirements for business- or system-related processes
o Data negotiation or acquisition activities
o Data collection activities
o Administrative data processing
o Data integration and reconciling
o Data quality control or monitoring
o Data analysis or research
o Dissemination of data products or analysis
o Data reporting or business intelligence analytics tools
o Data security or integrity
o Data retention
Experience in preparing and providing verbal and written briefings or reports, with recommendations, to senior management
*Significant experience is defined as the depth, breadth, complexity, variety and level of autonomy normally associated with having performed the specified activities as part of the main duties of a position, for a period of approximately two (2) years
** A complex project/initiative involves dimensions such as objective ambiguity, multiple concurrent priorities or subjects, significantly changing deadlines, multiple stakeholders or projects/initiatives with legal and privacy implications

Graduation with a degree from a recognized university with a specialization in geography or in geomatics
Experience in conducting geospatial analysis
Experience in implementing quality assurance processes to ensure the completeness, accuracy and integrity of data and databases
Experience in using advanced concepts and tools in data mining and analytics or business intelligence
Significant* experience in developing and delivering operations or services in an electoral context
Experience in using relational databases** or statistical software** to extract, manipulate, transform and disseminate data to perform analysis
Experience in developing, updating or testing workflow models, work processes, or business applications
Significant* experience in project coordination including administrative management, financial management and human resources management

**Relational databases or statistical software is defined as the use of at least one of the following but not limited to SAS, SQL, PowerBI, Python, R, or SPSS
