Anticipatory Process - The intent of this process is to fill a PC-02 position for a determinate period.
A pool of partially qualified candidates may be established through this process to staff identical or similar positions at the PC-02 group and level within Natural Resources Canada with various tenure, language requirement: English or French essential and security requirements: reliability status.

Your résumé.
Graduation from a recognized university with acceptable specialization in Earth sciences or other science directly related to the position.
Experience with geographic information systems software packages (such as ArcGIS, QGIS).
Experience in the handling, interpretation, processing and/or analysis of multisource geospatial data.
Experience in the design of user interfaces / user experience.
English or French
Information on language requirements
Knowledge of computer programming, scripting language, web development, spatial database management systems and geographic information systems.
Knowledge of the processing and analysis of science information and methods, techniques for data manipulation and aggregation.
Knowledge of software development tools on Linux and Windows Operating Systems.
Knowledge of system development cycle, UML and UML related tools.

A Master’s degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in Earth sciences or some other science relevant to the position
Experience of systems for the production and dissemination of scientific data.
Experience in natural risk assessment.
