Intent of the process

The immediate need is to staff two (2) Bilingual Imperative CBC/CBC positions: one is located in Gatineau, the other in Halifax.

A pool of partially assessed candidates will be established and may be used for future needs of various language requirements (Bilingual Imperative CBC/CBC, English Essential, French Essential) and of various tenures within the designated workplaces of ESDC.

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

EDUCATION
Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in human resources management, labour or industrial relations, psychology, public or business administration, organizational development, education sciences, social sciences, sociology, or in any other field relevant to the work to be performed.

Candidates must demonstrate that they have at least 160 hours of official training in the field of informal conflict management / alternative dispute resolution at a recognized institution.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE
Significant and recent* experience providing informal conflict management services in all the following fields: consultation, coaching and mediation, as a third neutral party.
Experience providing advice and assistance to clients at different levels in matters related to informal conflict resolution.
Experience delivering training and presentations in person or virtually.
Experience in the design and the development of training sessions or workshops.

*Significant and recent experience means approximately two (2) years of experience within the past four (4) years dealing with varied and complex files.

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION
Graduation with a master's degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with specialization in conflict studies.
Coaching certification.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE
Experience in the design, development and execution of group conflict interventions.
