The Human Resources (HR) Performance Measurement and Analysis unit provides support for planning, program performance measurement, decision making, and reporting activities. We collect and analyze data related to Human resources to summarize different aspects of the workforce and its activities.
Our services
We provide support and advice on HR data collection, management, analysis and reporting.
• ad hoc analysis to support evidence-based decision making
• people management dashboards
• accountability reports
• performance measurement metrics
• workforce analysis reports
• quarterly updates to the HR Data Portal (HRSO)
• media and Access to Information and Privacy (ATIP) requests
A pool of qualified candidates will be establish in order to meet our future needs within Environment and Climate Change Canada across Canada with various tenures such as indeterminate, specified period, with various language requirements and various security requirements according to the position to be staffed.

Education
Graduation with a degree from a recognized university with acceptable specialization in Economics, Sociology or Statistics.
Candidates must always have a university degree. The courses for the specialization do not necessarily have to be part of a degree program in the required specialization. The specialization may also be obtained through an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
Experience
EX1: Recent* experience conducting research and quantitative and/or qualitative analysis of economic, labour or social issues.
EX2: Recent* experience in data manipulation activities including extracting data, transforming data, maintaining analyzing large data sets and producing data tables or graphs.
EX3: Significant** experience in developing and fostering collaborative relationships with internal and/or external stakeholders and partners, representing diverse interests;
* Recent experience is defined as experience gained within the last 5 years.
** Significant experience is defined as the depth and breadth of experience working on a wide-range of activities, associated with the full-time performance of the duties for approximately two (2) years.
Asset Qualifications:
AEX1: Experience in supervising employees and developing work objectives, timelines, defining expected results and project plans, and providing feedback
AEX2: Experience using programming/scripting languages (such as Python, R, JavaScript, Ruby, SQL, or SAS)
AEX3: Experience performing data management activities using HR Systems such as PeopleSoft, SAP or other
Bilingual - Imperative (CBC/CBC)
