Join a fast-growing organization that makes a real difference in the health of Canadians!
Through a single application you’ll open the door to opportunities in not one, but two world-class organizations: Health Canada (HC) and the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC). This collective staffing process will be used to fill multiple positions at the CR-04 (clerical and regulatory, level 4) classification in various branches of HC and PHAC.
CR-04 employees provide clerical support to many programs and internal services across the department and agency. You could be managing the calendar and email of supervisors, planning logistics for meetings and conferences, organizing and maintaining paper or electronic files, helping facilitate HR, IT, or travel processes, or maintaining budgets and helping complete financial reports. The quality clerical support provided by our CRs is what enables us to promote, protect, and improve the health of Canadians!
Our intent is to complete the assessment process as quickly as possible. We are committed to maintaining a close relationship and timely communication with you throughout the process. Therefore, we ask all applicants to check their e-mail and GCJobs accounts regularly.

Pass marks will be established for each qualification. However, achieving the pass mark is not a guarantee of an appointment or that candidates will be put through the next stage of the assessment process. A cut-off score will be used and top-down approach may be used at any step if there are a sufficient number of candidates to meet immediate and anticipated staffing needs.
Interviews for this process will be completed via pre-recorded video interviews. Candidates will be asked to record their responses to interview questions using their own computer or mobile device. Information on the video interview process will be sent to candidates who are selected for an interview at a later date.
Preference will be given to veterans and to Canadian citizens, in that order, with the exception of a job located in Nunavut, where Nunavut Inuit will be appointed first.
