As a Procurement Officer, you will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing client needs, initiating and processing contract and procurement requests. You will contribute to the provision of contracting services and, for this purpose, you will review options and participate in the establishment of contracts for goods, services or construction work related to the contracted purchases.

The intent of this selection process is to staff one position on an indeterminate basis.
A pool of qualified candidates will be established to staff similar positions of various lengths, if needed. The pool could also be used to fill positions in a development program that could lead to a PG-02 level.

EDUCATION
Diploma from a secondary or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
EXPERIENCE
One year experience* working in areas with a focus on customer service, stakeholder engagement, research, planning and analysis, event planning, financial management, people management, project management, etc.
Note: * One year experience can be cumulative.
Experience in providing client services in an administrative, corporate or government environment.
Experience in clerical work in a private company or government environment.
Experience using an Integrated Procurement-Finanial Management System (such as SAP).
Experience in data analysis.
Bilingual - Imperative (BBB/BBB)
