The intent of the selection process is to staff one (1) indeterminate Bilingual Imperative CCC/CCC position with a Top Secret security clearance. The position is located at 1445 Regent Street, Fredericton, New Brunswick.
A pool of qualified candidates could be established and could also be used to staff similar positions within the RCMP of varying tenures, of varying bilingual linguistic profiles.
Should a Civilian Member (CM) be found qualified and selected for appointment, the appointment will not result in a change of status to another category for the member. Notification regarding the CM appointment will be sent to all applicable candidates who are within the area of selection and participated in the advertised process.
Should a Public Servant employee be found qualified and selected for appointment, a notification regarding the PS appointment will be posted accordingly.

A covering letter in 5,000 words (maximum)
Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in economics, sociology or statistics.
Recent* and significant** experience maintaining partnerships and representing your organization with two or more of the following: domestic or international stakeholders from other law enforcement agencies; intelligence agencies; government agency/departments; academic communities; or private sector.
Recent* and extensive*** experience in leading multi-disciplinary project teams or supervising complex intelligence projects on the following security-related matter: criminal intelligence, protective operations and/or major events.
Extensive*** experience developing complex**** analytical products related to at least two different types of criminal activities.
Recent* and significant** experience delivering briefings that provide advice or recommendations to senior***** levels on unit or program-related issues within an intelligence environment
Recent* and significant** experience in quality assurance processes in an intelligence environment
Recent* and significant** experience in human resource management in an environment with diverse categories of employees in at least two of the following: human resource planning, staffing/resourcing, classification, competency based management, training and development, performance evaluation, equity/diversity, official languages, labour-management relations, and rewards/recognition
Recent* experience in financial resource management (budgeting and forecasting)
*“Recent” is defined as professional experience that has been gained within the past two (2) years
**“Significant” is defined as the depth and breadth of professional experience that would normally have been gained performing the duties for a period of at least three (3) years
***“Extensive” is defined as the depth and breadth of professional experience that would normally have been gained performing the duties for a period of at least 3 years.
****“Complex” analytical products are defined as one those developed using at least two of the three types of intelligence (tactical, operational or strategic)
*****Senior levels is defined as EX-01 level or higher
ASSET QUALIFICATIONS
Master degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in economics, sociology or statistics or discipline related to the position
Successful completion of a recognized/accredited program specializing in law enforcement and leadership
Experience in working with the Canadian Security Intelligence Service
Experience in working with the Communications Security Establishment (CSE)
Bilingual - Imperative (CCC/CCC)
