1) Providing support and expertise to all phases for construction projects: Statement of Requirement (SOR) development support, concept design support, design review, construction phase support for various types of facilities and utilities;
2) Giving technical guidance, direction and support to custodians on all phases of infrastructure life cycle;
3) Developing and maintaining key internal technical policy documents including Construction Engineering Technical Orders, standards, guidelines and technical bulletin.

The team’s goal under the Assistant Deputy Minister (Infrastructure and Environment) is to offer high-quality, timely and responsive architecture and engineering services for the Department’s real property portfolio which includes offices, airports, secure communication facilities, ammunition storage facilities, central heating plants, specialized workshops, underground & above ground utilities, etc. This technical advice may range from informing management tasked with setting strategic departmental directions assisting Base-level personnel with specific technical challenges.

Your résumé.
- University Degree in Electrical Engineering or other engineering specialty relevant to the duties of the position as a graduate from a recognized engineering program.
- Licensed as a Professional Engineer in Canada.
EXPERIENCES :
ENG 04 & ENG 05:
- Experience in conducting engineering studies, evaluating reports, analyzing results and recommending implementation options in support of infrastructure investment initiatives.
- Experience in developing policies, standards or guidelines in electrical engineering field related to building electrical systems and electrical distribution systems.
ENG 04 Only:
- *Recent experience in electrical engineering design field related to building electrical systems and electrical distribution systems.
- Experience in providing electrical engineering support and guidance to the operations of building electrical systems and electrical distribution systems.
*Recent Experience is defined as the experience that would normally be obtained by performing one of the activities noted, within approximately the last five (5) years.
ENG 05 only:
- **Significant experience in electrical engineering design field related to building electrical systems and electrical distribution systems.
- Experience providing corporate-level engineering direction, expertise, advice and guidance for electrical utility and building systems.
- Experience in managing technical experts in a team environment.
**Significant Experience is defined as the experience that would normally be obtained by performing one of the activities noted, within approximately the last eight (8) years.

- Willingness and ability to travel to various Canadian Military Bases/Wings across Canada.

- Proof of current and valid registration as a licensed Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a Canadian provincial or territorial engineering association.
