Assessment accommodation

Duties

The challenge for the successful candidate will be to conduct field work in the Saskatchewan River and study the probability of fish stranding related to hydropeaking. The assistant will install and maintain cameras and conduct shore surveys. Duties will include literature review, collecting field data, data analysis, and writing manuscripts.

- Enrolment in a Master’s program in a field of study related to Environmental Studies in an accredited Canadian University.

Degree equivalency

- Experience working in fish ecology

Conditions of employment

Reliability Status security clearance - - Each student hired through the Research Affiliate Program (RAP) must meet the security requirements of the position as a condition of employment. Therefore, the student will be asked by the hiring organization to complete security-related documents.

- Maintaining your student status is a condition of employment. Once you have defended your thesis you are no longer eligible for the program.
- Possess a valid driver's license or have the mobility normally associated with possessing a valid driver's license.
