The intent of this process is to staff one (1) permanent position in Edmonton, AB. A qualified pool of candidates will be created and used to staff similar positions with various tenures (permanent/temporary) in Edmonton within the RCMP.
The pool could be used to offer acting appointments, assignments, secondments or deployments.
Should a CM be found qualified and selected for appointment, the appointment will not result in a change of status to another category for the member.

Your résumé.
University Degree in Social Sciences or Health Sciences OR an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience in the area of disability management
Recent* and significant** experience in the formulation of advice to managers (all levels) and employees on the application of laws and policies related to a return-to-work program or a disability management program
Experience in the preparation of presentations and reports to senior management*** (director and above)
Recent* and significant** experience in managing complex disability management, accommodation, and/or return to work cases
Experience in liaising and collaborating with internal and/or external stakeholders
Experience in organizing, preparing and facilitating meetings
*"Recent" experience is defined as experience associated with having performed this function in the past 5 years
**"Significant" experience is defined as experience associated with having performed a broad range of related activities which could normally be acquired over a period of approximately 2 years
***Senior Management is defined as EX minus 1 and above OR officer level RCMP Member

OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Willingness and ability to travel occasionally.
Willingness and ability to work overtime when required
