Procurement Canada.

EDUCATION:

A secondary school diploma or employer-approved alternatives.

The employer-approved alternatives to a secondary school diploma are:
◦A satisfactory score on the Public Service Commission test approved as an alternative to a secondary school diploma; or
◦An acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE:

-Experience identifying issues and developing advice and options in order to minimize risk and resolve a problem.
-Experience providing strategic advice and guidance to various stakeholders or management.
-Experience in coaching others.
-Experience in supervising staff.
-Experience providing service to the public in an environment where there is a high volume of clients.

-Experience in the use of computer systems in the Compensation and Benefits area such as Peoplesoft, Case Management Tool (CMT) Regional Pay System (RPS) and/or Phoenix.
- Experience in the provision of compensation services within the Federal Public Service.
- Experience in the application of compensation and benefits acts, regulations, rules and procedures.
