In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

Education:
(For all opportunities)
A secondary school diploma or acceptable experience and/or training in a field relevant to position

Degree equivalency

Experience:
For AS02 and AS03 opportunities:
• Experience using of a financial management system, preferably the Real Estate module in FI.
• Experience creating and improving reports in Excel
• Experience in researching, collecting and analyzing information and documents related to finances
• Experience in providing client service

For AS03 opportunities only:
• Experience in applying standards or guidelines or policies
• Experience analyzing options and providing recommendations to committees, clients, supervisors or managers

If you possess any of the following, your application must also clearly explain how you meet it (other qualifications)

Education:
• Graduation from a recognized university in Business Administration, Economics or some other specialty related to the position

Degree equivalency

Experience:
• Experience using of an SAP system, preferably the Real Estate module in FI.
• Experience working in a real property unit, preferably for the Government of Canada.
• Experience creating pivot tables, vLookups and data sorting and filtering in MS Excel 2013
• Experience writing business cases
• Valid First Aid / CPR Certification
• Experience in providing administrative support services
• Experience in overseeing and following up on security procedures
• Experience in planning events or meetings including the preparation, invitations and agendas
• Experience in providing advice and guidance

Candidates must meet the essential qualifications to be appointed to a position.

Depending on the requirements of the position(s) being staffed from this process, for current or future vacancies, any or all of the asset qualifications, operational requirements, and organizational needs may be applied at the time of screening.

Top down or random selection may be applied.

Depth, breath and complexity of experience may be applied.

From this process, your application may be considered for either the AS02 or AS03 based on assessment results.

If found qualified at the AS03 level you will be placed in the AS02 pool.

For current Public Servants, actings, secondments or deployment may be considered.

A pool may be created.

There is a 180 day waiting period before you can reapply if eliminated from the inventory.
Your application will not be reconsidered until the waiting period has elapsed.

Competencies may not be reassessed.

Please note that in addition to all assessment methods, correspondence and communication in relation to this selection process may also be used to assess certain qualifications.

Candidates from outside the Federal Public Service will be required to pay for their own travel expenses for various phases of testing/assessment.

Preference

Preference will be given to veterans and to Canadian citizens, in that order, with the exception of a job located in Nunavut, where Nunavut Inuit will be appointed first.
