You will be part of a dynamic team that will advance regulatory modernization and innovation for the Department, including advancing key priorities under centrally-led regulatory reviews. You will coordinate the Portfolio’s contribution to the Government of Canada’s annual regulatory modernization bill to facilitate modernization of Health Canada’s Acts and regulations. You will lead the development of policy documents in collaboration with branches, to improve regulatory practices in the department. You will represent the Division and advance departmental positions at meetings with Central Agencies, formulate policy positions and strategies, lead the development of Cabinet documents, and provide expert advice. You will work with internal and external health partners.

EDUCATION
A degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in economics, sociology or statistics.
Note: Candidates must always have a university degree. The courses for the specialization do not necessarily have to be part of a degree program in the required specialization. The specialization may also be obtained through an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience. Experience
