When you apply to this selection process, you are not applying for a specific job, but to an inventory for future vacancies. As positions become available, applicants who meet the qualifications may be contacted for further assessment.
How does this process work? Please read below to find out!
Step 1:
Your application and resume (no cover letter required) is randomly selected from the inventory. Decisions on further assessment may be based on depth and breadth of experience. For all experience factors, ensure you answer the screening questions with sufficient details to allow hiring managers to fully understand the scope of your experience. A reference is required and may be contacted to validate your response.
Step 2:
You are screened in for further assessment. Managers will be screening resumes and selecting candidates to move on to the next phase. You are contacted for an interview. The interview will be to explain the job, work environment and will be used to assess the essential Competencies. This will also be your opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the work.
Step 3:
All candidates that move through to the Interview phase will be advised of your outcome in the process.
Step 4:
If you are the selected candidate, you will be contacted to complete the Security screening. Once completed, a letter of offer will be provided.
NOTE: Appointments are made on an on-going basis as requirements arise. Qualified candidates are placed in a pool, and appointments can occur for the next several years based on the results of this process.

Salary Note:
CR-03: $45,869 to $49,478 per year
CR-04: $50,821 to $54,857 per year
A pool of qualified candidates may be established and may be used to staff similar positions on a permanent, temporary, or casual basis with various security requirements and language profiles. Successful completion of secondary school or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
Experience:
Recent* experience using word processing software such as Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel).

- Experience using Defence Resource Management Information System (DRMIS)
- Experience using Systems Applications and Products (SAP)
- Experience using MonitorMass
- Experience in using Canadian Forces Tasks Planning and Operations
- Experience in using Military Individual Training and Education
- Experience in stocktaking including but not limited to inventory control and/or record keeping of stock holdings.
- Experience working with RoomMaster booking software.
- Experience in working with military units (Regular and Reserve Force) to ensure needs for Temporary Duty events and courses are met.
- Experience using PeopleSoft Human Resources Management System (HRMS).
- Experience with budget monitoring and maintaining files and records.
