There is an immediate need to staff one position located in St. John’s, NL.
A pool of qualified candidates will be established and may be used to staff similar or lower level positions with various tenures within the Department of Fisheries and Oceans Canada in the Newfoundland and Labrador region, Maritimes region, and the Canadian Coast Guard in the Atlantic Region.

Education:
Secondary school diploma or employer-approved alternatives
*Employer-approved alternatives is defined as a General High School Equivalency (GED), or a Public Service General Intelligence Test 320 (GIT-320); or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
Experience:
• Experience using Asset Management Software, such as Maximo, SAP or DRIMS
• Experience providing technical training.
• Experience providing first level technical support to clients.
Education:
• Post-secondary or graduate degree in a relevant field, such as education or computer science.
Experience:
• Experience in the development of multi-day training course materials such as Work Instructions, Quick Reference Guides and Microsoft PowerPoint course materials.
• Experience leading technical training as a course instructor.
• Experience providing support in at least one phase of asset Life Cycle Management.
