The Data, Innovation, Analytics (DIA) Group has the mission to provide strategic leadership, governance and guidance to successfully transition the Department of National Defence (DND) and the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) to a data-driven organization, where people manages data as an enterprise asset and uses it effectively in their decision making. Created in Summer 2018, DIA Group is instrumental in DND/CAF embracing a data-driven culture and harnessing data to drive deliberate decisions and measurable actions to create a more agile and innovative enterprise.

EDUCATION
AS-06 and AS-05 – All fields:
Degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with a specialization in business administration, commerce, data analytics, information (data) management or other specialty relevant to the position.
EXPERIENCE
AS-06 and AS-05 – All fields :
EX01. Significant** experience building and maintaining effective work relations and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
AS-06 only – All fields:
EX02. Recent* and significant** experience in providing analysis, advice and recommendations to executive team and other stakeholders on complex data issues.
AS-05 only – All fields:
EX03. Recent* and significant** experience in researching, analysing and identifying complex data issues.
*Recent experience is defined as experience normally gained within the last five (5) years
**Significant experience is defined as experience that was a core part of the applicant’s employment for a period of two (2) years

AEX03. Recent* and significant** experience managing employees, including preparing work plans, assigning work, assessing and managing performance, and training and coaching.
