Intent of the process

This is an anticipatory staffing process to establish a pool of candidates that will be used to staff identical or similar positions of various tenures (indeterminate, term, acting, deployment, assignment and secondment).

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

EDUCATION:
Graduation with a degree from a recognized university with an acceptable specialization in a relevant area of study (such as Business, Economics, Public Administration) OR an acceptable combination of a university degree and significant relevant experience.

Degree equivalency

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE:
- Recent and significant experience* in monitoring and managing contract performance
- Recent and significant experience* in planning, evaluating and monitoring projects, strategies or products
- Recent and significant experience* in working in a partnership role with officials from other federal departments, provincial/municipal governments, private sector or non-government organizations
- Recent and significant experience* assessing one of the following: business plans, marketing plans, strategic plans or financial statements/documents.

* Recent and significant is defined as the depth and breadth associated with the performance of duties normally acquired over a period of approximately two years, within the last five years.

ASSET EDUCATION:
Designated specialization in a relevant field of study such as accounting, engineering, human resources management, etc.

Degree equivalency

ASSET EXPERIENCE:
- Experience working with community and/or industry associations and/or sectors such as tourism, ITC, bioscience, agri-food etc.
- Experience in digital marketing, including social media i.e. developing, implementing and/or measuring digital market campaigns.
- Experience in preparing spreadsheets, presentations and briefing materials for management.
- Experience in the delivery of financial assistance programs.

ORGANIZATIONAL NEED:
In support of achieving a representative workforce, current and/or future organizational needs may require that consideration be given to candidates self-identifying as belonging to one of the following employment equity groups: women, members of visible minorities, persons with disabilities and Aboriginal Peoples.

OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Willingness and ability to travel, as required.
- Willingness and ability to work outside working hours, including evenings and weekends, with minimal notice.
- Must have a valid driver's license for personal mobility to the extent normally associated with the possession of a driver's license.
