**The assessment board cannot make any assumptions about your experience. It is insufficient to say that you have the required qualifications, to refer to your resume, or to list your current duties. When completing the screening questions, candidates must clearly demonstrate, using clear and concrete examples, how they meet essential and asset qualifications.**
The answers provided to the screening questions will be the main source of information used to evaluate applicants. Failure to provide complete answers may result in job applications being screened out from further consideration in this process. "Asset qualifications" could be used either at the screening phase or to determine which candidate will be appointed. Therefore, if candidates meet the asset qualifications, they should also describe in the related screening questions how they meet these qualifications using detailed and concrete examples.
Immediate need is to staff one English essential position on an indeterminate basis.
A pool of qualified candidates may be established and may be used to staff identical or similar positions within Global Affairs Canada. Tenures and official language requirements and profiles may vary according to the positions being staffed.

Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with an acceptable specialization in Economics, Sociology, or Statistics.
* Candidates must always have a degree. The courses for the specialization must be acceptable and may have been taken at a recognized post-secondary institution, but not necessarily within a degree program in the required specialization. The specialization may also be obtained through an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
*Recent and **significant experience finding, analyzing, synthesizing and interpreting quantitative and qualitative data from a variety of open and classified sources.
*Recent and **significant experience developing and maintaining collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Experience in information quality assurance or data management to provide innovative, data-related advice to internal researchers and policy analysts.
Experience in developing, editing, and updating documents for internal and/or external publication, with particular attention to ensuring adherence to departmental policies, standards, and best practices.
*Recent experience refers to experience gained within the past five (5) years.
**Significant experience is defined as the depth and breadth of experience that would normally be associated with having performed the duties for a period of approximately two (2) years.

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in data base management, website administration, or internet publication, and the principles and terminology associated with said IT environments.
Experience working in a real property or real estate environment, with demonstrated aptitude in transaction management, client service, or project administration.
Experience or qualifications in Real Property related fields, such as Project Management, Construction Management, Interior Design or Decorating, Property or Asset Management.
Willingness and ability to travel internationally as required.
Willingness and ability to work overtime as required.
