In the federal public service, we give great importance to your experience. We therefore encourage you to pay special attention to the screening questions and to demonstrate through concrete examples that you possess the experiences and the education standard for the position, listed under “essential qualifications” and “other qualifications” (if you possess them). It is not enough for you to tell us that you possess the experience, but rather in a few words tell us about the projects you have worked on and the functions you have held (HOW, WHEN, and WHERE). Furthermore, please provide sufficient information about the dates and length of time, the scope of work, and the complexity of the project or the job. Failure to provide this information in the requested format will result in your application being rejected.
Candidates with foreign credentials must provide proof of Canadian equivalency. Consult the Canadian Information Centre for International Credentials for further information at http://www.cicic.ca.
