The immediate need is to fill one indeterminate bilingual imperative PPC/CCC position.
A pool of partially or fully qualified candidates may be established from this process which may be used to staff similar positions within the Department of Justice with various tenures, linguistic profiles (bilingual imperative only - PPB/BBB and PPC/CCC) and condition of employments, which may vary according to the position to be staffed.

EDUCATION
ED1: You must have a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution OR have an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
EXPERIENCE
EX1:
You must have significant* experience in writing, editing, proofreading and providing quality control of English written materials.
EX2: You must have significant* experience providing editorial advice to clients.
* Significant: is normally acquired through experience handling a large volume of written materials over approximately 2 years.

OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
OP1: Ability and willingness to work overtime, frequently on short notice.
OP2: Ability and willingness to work Monday to Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
NOTE: Compressed work weeks are not permitted.
Bilingual - Imperative
The immediate need is to fill one indeterminate Bilingual imperative PPC/CCC position.
The pool of qualified candidates may be used to staff positions with various linguistic profiles such as: Bilingual imperative PPB/BBB, Bilingual imperative PPC/CCC.
NOTE: The IS-03 positions require a Technical or Specialized Language Skills – Code P in English.

Those selected for an interview should be prepared to provide the names of their referees (2 supervisors). Referees must have an in-depth knowledge of your work, and must be able to answer specific questions pertaining to your achievements and strengths.
Candidates may be required to meet one of the asset qualification and/or organizational needs, depending on the requirements of the specific position being staffed.
Other qualifications may be taken into consideration in the selection decision.
