« Anticipatory Staffing » This process will be used to establish a pool of qualified candidates. The pool may be used to staff similar indeterminate, term or acting positions with various linguistic profiles and/or requirements, various security requirements as well as tenures, which may vary according to the position being staffed.

1. Experience preparing documents such as letters, memoranda, briefing notes and/or reports.

RCMP Security Clearance
Successful applicants will be required to obtain and maintain an RCMP Security Clearance throughout their employment. Positions filled will have security clearance requirements at the following levels: RCMP Enhanced Reliability Status, Secret, or Top Secret. This requires a security/reliability interview and a field investigation in matters of criminal activities, credit/finances, education, employment, references, etc.

The references you provide must be former or current supervisors. You must include an email address and a phone number for each reference. Although only those candidates who successfully pass the interview will have their references contacted, by providing the references, you are consenting to these individuals being contacted.
Should a Civilian Member (CM) be found qualified and selected for appointment, the appointment will not result in a change of status to the Public Service (PS) category for the CM.
Preference will be given to veterans and to Canadian citizens, in that order, with the exception of a job located in Nunavut, where Nunavut Inuit will be appointed first.
