EDUCATION:
- A post-secondary diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
The acceptable combination is defined as having completed a minimum of a secondary school diploma in addition to a minimum of three (3) consecutive years of work experience in leading** administrative investigations in an investigator role or equivalent, or in another field related to the position.
EXPERIENCES:
- Recent* experience in leading** administrative investigations
- Recent* experience in writing documents such as analytical or investigative reports, and correspondence.
- Experience in making written recommendations and providing verbal briefings to senior managers (Director level or above).
*Recent means experience acquired within the last five (5) years.
**Leading administrative investigations - in this context - means the person responsible for and in charge of conducting administrative investigations, from start to completion.
Bilingual - Imperative (CBC/CBC)

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
- A degree (a baccalaureate or higher level degree) from a recognized university in a field related to the position (examples of acceptable specializations, but not limited to: Law, Business, Human Resources Management, Labour Relations).
EXPERIENCES:
- Experience in interpreting relevant statutes.
- Experience in dealing with senior managers at the Director General or Assistant Deputy Minister level.
- Experience working in an operational environment in which the core functions and tasks relate directly to enabling legislation, such as, but not limited to: the Public Servants Disclosure Protection Act, the Privacy Act, Canada Occupational Health and Safety Regulations, Criminal Code, Labour Code.
KNOWLEDGE:
- Knowledge of the Public Servants Disclosure Protection Act (PSDPA).
- Knowledge of Values and Ethics Code for the Public Sector.
ORGANIZATIONAL NEEDS:
