We are committed to providing an inclusive and barrier-free work environment, starting with the hiring process. If you need to be accommodated during any phase of the evaluation process, please use the Contact information below to request specialized accommodation. All information received in relation to accommodation will be kept confidential.

Assessment accommodation

Candidates who meet the initial screening criteria will be invited to attend a written exam located at 'E' Division Headquarters in Surrey, BC on one of the following dates: November 8, 12, 13, 14. Alternate arrangements may be considered on a case-by-case basis for candidates unable to attend this location or on any of these dates, but cannot be guaranteed. Reasonable efforts will be made to offer testing in similar RCMP office locations across Canada, however, please be aware that the cost to attend the assessment will be the candidate's responsibility. Candidates will be required to pay for their own travel (including travel for assessment purposes), and may be required to pay for their own relocation expenses.

Intent of the process

The intent of this process is to establish a pool of qualified candidates to meet anticipated future needs if and when they arise. Once established, the qualified pool will be valid for a period of one year and may be extended. It may be used to staff future vacancies (including similar positions, on either a specified period or indeterminate basis, and at either full or part time hours) throughout RCMP's 'E' Division in British Columbia. You must therefore clearly identify which location(s) you are applying to. The pool is intended to be inclusive of Public Service (PS) employees and Civilian Members (CM).
