Successful completion of secondary school and/or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience.
Experience
E1. Experience working in at least one of the following:
-Experience working in a warehouse, shipping environment, or distribution centre, or,
-Experience in receipt and/or issue and/or maintenance, and/or storage of goods or equipment, or,
-Experience shipping and/or receiving goods, or,
- Experience operating a forklift.
E2. Experience in using computer software applications, such as but not limited to, MS Word, MS Excel or MS Outlook.
E3. Experience using material management systems.

AOC1: First Aid
AOC2: WHIMIS

AOC4: Material Handling Equipment (MHE) Qualification of F4 or higher.

Operational Requirements
The following operational requirements may apply to the position to be filled:
Willing and able to work in a warehouse environment with minimal supervision;
Willing and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions;
Willing and able to work at heights above floor level;
Willing and able to be trained on MHE;
Willing and able to work overtime as pre-authorized.
Reliability Status security clearance
Must be able to wear Canadian Standards Association (CSA) approved safety footwear and other Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Must be able to perform physical duties, including, and not limited to: sitting for extended periods, standing for extended periods, and lifting up to 20 kg.
Must possess a valid provincial or territorial driver's license.
Must obtain/retain a valid DND 404 and operate various Material Handling Equipment.
Must possess Safe Driving Course, Initial (SDC - I) or equivalent.
Must be able to lift 20kg in accordance with safe lifting practices.
Must be able to work in confined spaces, climb ladders and work on elevated devices.
Must be able to work in an enclosed environment (warehouse) with artificial light, few or no windows, forced air ventilation and constant noise with potential for exposure to changes in temperature, humidity, noise, dust, exhaust fumes and other noxious odors from oil, gas, chemicals and cleaners.
