This collective staffing process will be used to fill multiple positions at the CR-04 (clerical and regulatory, level 4) classification in various branches of HC and PHAC in Winnipeg. Our intent is to complete the assessment process as quickly as possible. Candidates are expected to check their e-mail and GCJobs accounts regularly for information on the process. Candidates who do not respond to inquiries from the assessment team by the required deadlines may be eliminated from consideration.
Assessments for this process may be completed via online testing and pre-recorded video interviews. Candidates will be asked to answer test questions and record their responses to interview questions using their own computer or mobile device. Information on the interview process will be sent to candidates who are selected for an interview at a later date.
A pool of qualified candidates will be created and may be used to staff similar positions at the CR-04 group and level with various tenures, various locations and various security requirements within Public Health Agency of Canada and Health Canada, in Winnipeg, MB.

Education:
Successful completion of secondary school or employer-approved alternatives*.
*Employer-approved alternatives include:
An acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience is defined as two years secondary school plus two years working in an office environment OR
A satisfactory score on the Public Service Commission test approved as an alternative to a secondary school diploma.
Experience:
• Experience providing record management services such as classifying, coding, filing, retrieving, retention and disposition.
• Experience in processing requests or providing services to clients in an office environment.
• Experience in Data entry using spreadsheet, word processing or database software.

Operational requirements will vary depending on the position being staffed and may include any of the following:
• Willingness to work overtime on occasion.
• Willingness to adjust working hours on occasion.
• Willingness to adjust work locations on occasion.
• Daily Standing, Stretching, bending, lifting and reaching to search and retrieve files and /or boxes.
• Willingness and ability to lift up to 50 lbs (depending on the position).
