The Department of National Defence (DND) is one of the largest federal government employers. DND's role is to provide services and support to the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) in their operations and missions at home and abroad. As a civilian employee, you will be an essential part of the Defence Team.
The intent of this process is to staff 1 indeterminate position in Cold Lake, Alberta.
A pool of qualified candidates may be established and may be used to staff similar positions, with varying tenures in various locations.

Your résumé.
ED1 - Possession of a valid Red Seal or provincially recognized journeyman certificate in a trade relevant to the position (Civil, Structural, Architectural, Mechanical, Plumbing/Heating or Electrical) or equivalent combination of training, education and experience.
OR
ED2 – Graduation with a minimum two year diploma applicable to the position being staffed from a recognized College.
EX1 - Experience working in a multi-trade group involved in the planning, construction and maintenance of infrastructure.
EX2 - Experience in planning and preparing detailed designs and computer aided drawings for projects to be used specifically for tendering purposes.
EX3 - Experience in the use of Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel and Outlook
EX4 - Experience in creating Statements of Requirements or Work.
ASET (Association of Science and Engineering Technology) certification or provincial equivalent
Experience in Auto CAD (Computer Assisted Drafting)
Experience creating Project Approval Documentation
Experience in Asset Management
Experience in Project Management
Experience in SAP/GUI
