Your résumé.
A covering letter in 250 words (maximum) "Describe in detail why you would like to work for the RCMP Headquarters in Whitehorse, Yukon."
A degree from a recognized post-secondary institution OR an acceptable combination of education, training and /or experience.
Significant* experience in developing and implementing communications strategies or plans.
Experience in managing media relations and working with a wide variety of stakeholders
(including senior managers)
Experience in developing multimedia/social media products, services and/or strategies.
Experience in facilitating and planning events.
*Significant experience is normally acquired within 3 or more years of experience
Experience in planning and managing complex, high profile matters
Experience leading a team, assigning work and/or overseeing performance
Experience working for or in partnership with first responder, police agency or similar organization
English essential
Information on language requirements

Reliability Status security clearance - RCMP Enhanced Reliability security clearance. This requires a Security/Reliability Interview, and a field investigation in matters of Criminal Activities, credit/finances, education, employment, reference, etc.
Possession of a valid driver's licence or the personal mobility to the extent normally associated with the possession of a valid driver's licence .
Health Canada approved medical clearance for Isolated Post.
