The intent of this selection process is to create a pool of qualified candidates to be used to staff this or similar positions on an indeterminate, specified period (term), acting, deployment, secondment, or assignment basis.

Education:
• Successful completion of an Occupational Health and Safety Program or an acceptable combination of education, training, and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

Experience:
• Experience in interpreting and applying procedures or regulations in an operational safety environment.
• Experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Experience in monitoring operational activities in order to ensure compliance with applicable safety legislation and making recommendations for improvements.
• Experience in developing and/or delivering technical or safety training courses.
