If you need to be accommodated during any phase of the evaluation process, please use the Contact information below to request specialized accommodation. All information received in relation to accommodation will be kept confidential.
Please submit your application online. Your application will be screened to determine if you meet the essential education and experience factors. If you are screened in, you will receive an invitation for an in-person interview assessment located in Yellowknife. Applicants must be available in Yellowknife on these dates as alternate interview methods such as phone interviews or video interviews will not be offered.
Candidates will be required to pay for their own travel expenses to the assessment. Failure to attend without valid reasons will be deemed as a withdrawal from the process. Please see Other Information below for list of valid reasons.
If necessary, in order to reduce the volume of applicants attending the assessment, it may be determined that only candidates who possess 1 or more of the asset qualifications may be invited.
Please provide us with the names and contact information of three references, one current supervisor/manager and two past supervisors/managers and their contact information (name, position/title, phone number, email address). Your reference contacts must be able to attest of your professional experience and competencies as well as your personal qualities as an employee.
Please bring a photocopy of your proof of Canadian Citizenship or your eligibility to work in Canada, as well as your proof of education.
Screening Questions:
It is your responsibility as a candidate to answer the following screening questions (i.e. Education and Experience Qualifications, both Essential and Assets). Please note that it is not sufficient to only state that you meet the qualifications or to provide a listing of current or past task descriptions. Rather you must provide concrete examples, which illustrate how you meet each qualification. Candidates must clearly indicate the length of their work experiences, by providing detailed information. Please note that the screening questions are the primary tool used for screening purposes.
Please note that any portion of your application may be used to assess written communication including the screening questions and resume.
