This process will be used to staff an indeterminate full time position, with a linguistic profile of English Essential.
A pool of qualified candidates may be created.

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

Experience in the shipping and receiving of vehicles, equipment, documentation and licenses from various outlets.
Experience related to vehicle and inventory control.
Experience in the inspection of vehicles both old and new to determine condition or identify damage.
Experience in conducting vehicle maintenance program to ensure proper vehicle service schedule including such tasks as oil changes, brake inspections, winterizing vehicles, safety inspections, vehicles strip-outs and various minor mechanical tasks.
Experience in processing of documentation such as work orders and invoices.

** Experience is defined as one year of performance over the past five years.

Knowledge of procedures, practices and protocols to perform disposals.

Availability, ability and willingness to work overtime as required.
Availability, ability and willingness to travel to rural communities by police aircraft or by road vehicle in variable weather conditions and may require occasional travel on government or commercial aircraft of varying sizes within the territory, the region and nationally.
Availability, ability and willingness to work, including starting and moving vehicles, outdoors or in unheated spaces in ambient temperatures ranging from +25C to -40C.
Availability, ability and willingness to drive for long periods to effect the pickup and relocation of powered watercraft, snowmobiles and other off-road vehicles at various locations in variable weather conditions.
Availability, ability and willingness to operate multiple types of RCMP vehicles as required.

Conditions of employment

Reliability Status security clearance

Possession of a valid Yukon Driver’s Licence or mobility to the extent of possessing this valid driver’s licence.
Health Canada Isolated Post Medical Clearance.
