How will you contribute?
The RCMP's National Division is looking to fill a supervisor position (AS-04) in its Strategic Planning and Performance Unit. This team of 5 provides strategic planning support, facilitates strategy formulation and performance management while providing strategic advice and recommendations to senior management and acting as internal consultants to the leaders of the different units.

The selected individual will play a fundamental role in developing, supporting and guiding the implementation of the Division's overall strategic objectives and initiatives. Intent of the process

The intent of the selection process is to staff one (1) indeterminate Bilingual Imperative CBC/CBC position with a Top Secret security clearance. The position is located at 155 McArthur Avenue, Ottawa, ON.

A pool of qualified candidates could be established and could also be used to staff similar positions of varying tenures, of varying bilingual linguistic profiles within the RCMP in the National Capital Region.

Should a Civilian Member (CM) be found qualified and selected for appointment, the appointment will not result in a change of status to another category for the member.

Graduation with a bachelor’s degree from a recognized post-secondary institution* with acceptable specialization in Business, Public Administration, Economics, Sociology, Statistics and/or in Social Sciences.

Conditions of employment

The position will require a valid RCMP Top Secret security clearance. All selected applicants for positions within the Royal Canadian Mounted Police will be subject to a thorough security clearance process which includes an interview wherein questions may include (but not limited to), reference checks, previous employment, on-line activities, credit checks, alcohol and/or drug use.
