The intent with this process is to staff one (1) CS-05 position for a period of 2 years (Assignment, Secondment, Specified period or acting), with possibility of extension and/or indeterminate appointment.

EDUCATION
- Degree* or higher in an acceptable post-secondary educational program in computer science, information technology, information management or another specialty relevant to the position to be staffed.

EXPERIENCE
- *Recent experience in providing recommendations to **senior management on ***complex issues related to the delivery of Information Technology (IT) projects or services.
- *Recent and ****significant experience managing complex projects involving significant change across a federal public service organization in the area of IM/IT.
- Experience establishing partnerships and collaborating with business stakeholders towards achievement of results.
- *Recent experience with financial management and human resource management.
- *Recent experience with procurement processes for professional services and the management of resulting contracts.
*Recent experience is defined as experience acquired within at least three (3) years
**Senior management is defined as Director-General level or above
***Complex issues are defined as issues having two (2) or more of the following characteristics. Multidimensional, sensitive, affecting many partners or stakeholders, precedent setting, or having a major impact on business operations
****Significant experience is understood to mean the depth and breadth of the experience normally associated with having performed a broad range of activities related to this task, which are acquired over a period of at least three (3) consecutive years prior to this process.
ASSET QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification.
Experience:
- Experience in managing a virtual team.
- Experience in managing a delivery organization that grows and shrinks based on project volume and complexity.
