This selection process will be used to establish a pool of partially qualified candidates to fill a variety of current and future marketing positions within the Public Service at the IS-04 and IS-05 group and level with various language requirements.

It is not sufficient to state that you meet the criteria or to list your current responsibilities. Without specific and detailed examples, the Assessment Board’s may reject your application.

A degree from a recognized post-secondary institution OR an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience*.
*The acceptable combination is defined as:
A secondary school diploma and two years’ experience in a field related to the positions such as communications, advertising, marketing OR you have a college diploma (minimum two-year program) related to the position such as communications, advertising, marketing.

=> EXPERIENCES

In order to apply for the IS-05, you must demonstrate that you have significant experience, as indicated on EX1 and EX2. This is understood to mean the depth and the breadth of experience normally associate with having performed the activities for two (2) or more years.
EX1: Experience in developing and implementing one or more strategies or plans related to marketing or advertising. Experience could include the management of the development and implementation while working with a creative or media agency.
*If you are applying for the IS-05, you must demonstrate that you have significant experience. Include more examples and the dates to substantiate your experience of two (2) or more years.
EX2: Experience in preparing and providing advice or recommendations to clients or senior management on the development, implementation or results of a marketing or advertising initiative.
*If you are applying for the IS-05, you must demonstrate that you have significant experience. Include more examples and the dates to substantiate your experience of for two (2) or more years.
EX3: Experience in coordinating projects or events which include three (3) or more products or services. Products or services might include, but are not limited to: web site development, marketing partnerships and influencers, advertising, branding, corporate engagement activities, market research, promotional activities, and event coordination.

OPERATIONNAL REQUIREMENTS:
─ Willing and able to work overtime and on the weekend, often on short notice, and to adopt flexible work hours.
