This process will initially be used to staff one indeterminate position. A pool of qualified candidates may be established and may be used to staff similar, term and/or permanent positions, acting, assignments/secondments situations, or deployments.

Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with an acceptable specialization in nursing, nursing service administration, nursing education or some other specialty relevant to the position.
Eligibility for registration as a registered nurse in a province or territory of Canada.
Experience in establishing and maintaining relationships with partners or stakeholders.
Experience working effectively with First Nations, Inuit, and/or Métis.
Experience in providing advice to senior management.
Experience in the management and allocation of human, financial and material resources.

Graduation with a master’s degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with an acceptable specialization in nursing, nursing service administration, nursing education or some other specialty relevant to the position.
Recent and significant* experience in human resources management and planning.
Recent and significant* experience in managing budgets and forecasting procedures.
*Recent and significant experience is defined as the depth and breadth of experience normally associated with full time performance of duties for a minimum period of 2 consecutive years within the last 5 years.
Knowledge of College of Nurses of Manitoba Standards.
