Assessment accommodation

Intent of the process

This process will be used to create a pool of fully or partially qualified candidates to draw from in the event of future vacancies within Global Affairs Canada. Positions will have various language requirements and linguistic profiles (i.e. English essential, Bilingual Imperative BBB/BBB, CBC/CBC or CCC/CCC), which may vary according to the position being staffed. Tenures may vary according to the position.

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

• Secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

• Experience in consulting stakeholders from within or outside the organization.
• Experience in preparing documents to support decision making,
• Experience providing managers with options and recommendations.
• Experience in providing support and advice to *management on financial, human resources, contracting and administrative processes.
• Experience acting as a change agent.


*Management is defined as two reporting levels below a Director.

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduation with a degree form a recognized post-secondary institution.

Degree equivalency

• Project management certification.

• Experience in the field of real property in one of the two following areas: property management or project management.
• Experience in the support of development of construction projects outside of Canada.
• Experience managing/supervising staff.
• Experience developing and implementing processes, standards or procedures.
• Experience in managing secretariat services for program or project governance, including maintaining documents (e.g. terms of reference, agendas, records of decisions, issues log).
• Experience in executing program or project quality management, such as quality assurance of deliverables or conducting lessons learned.
• Experience in collecting business requirements
• Experience developing systems and tools (e.g. databases, templates, reports, etc).
• Experience in resource and capacity management related to project delivery.
