This process will be used to staff a one year term position (Bilingual Imperative BBB/BBB). A pool of qualified candidates will be established and may be used to staff similar positions with different language requirements and tenures.

EDUCATION:
• Successful completion of two years of an acceptable post-secondary educational program in computer science, information technology, information management or another specialty relevant to the position to be staffed.
Note: Indeterminate period incumbents of positions in the CS group on May 10, 1999, who do not possess the education prescribed above, are deemed to meet the minimum education standards based on their education, training and/or experience.
EXPERIENCE:
• Experience in the provision and support of Information Technology (IT) services.
• Experience in supporting desktop operating systems and applications in a Windows environment.
• Experience in troubleshooting and performing maintenance and repairs on various IT items such as desktops, laptops, monitors, printers and cell phones.
• Experience in providing IM/IT technical support and advice to clients, co-workers or senior management, in a desktop support role.

EDUCATION:
• Professional qualifications related to Information Technology support.
EXPERIENCE:
• Experience in working in a military environment.
• Experience in working with the ASSYST ITSM tool.
• Experience in maintaining and verifying Supply Customer Accounts (SCA/SLOC).
• Experience in planning, documenting, prioritizing and coordinating client/business IT requirements.
KNOWLEDGE:
• Knowledge of security issues, processes and procedures related to Information Technology (IT) systems.

• Work overtime evenings & weekends, as required.
