Intent of the process

The current need is to staff 1 indeterminate bilingual BBB/BBB position.

A pool of (fully or partially qualified) candidates may be established through this process to staff identical or similar positions at the AS-05 group and level within National Defence with various tenures (determinate period or permanent), various language requirements (English Essential, French Essential, English or French Essential, or Bilingual), linguistic requirements (imperative and/or non-imperative) and profile(s) (BBB/BBB, CBC/CBC, CCC/CCC, etc.), various security requirements (Reliability status or Secret clearance), various conditions of employment and for various locations.

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

Education:
Edu1: Secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

Experience:
Ex1: Experience in providing strategic advice and recommendations to Management*.
Ex2: Experience in establishing new working relationships and liaising with stakeholder groups.
Ex3: Experience in leading or managing change including through working groups, meetings, conferences or other consultative processes.
Ex4: Experience preparing a variety of written materials, such as reports and briefing notes.
Ex5: Experience analyzing and interpreting any 3 of: Financial spreadsheets, Policies, Plans, Performance Measurement Frameworks, Developing procedures.

Aex5: Experience in the development of performance indicators.
Aex6: Experience working in a virtual environment (team members in different locations)
Aex7: Experience in supervision

Operational Requirements:
Willingness and ability to work overtime on short notice.
Willingness and ability to travel occasionally, both domestically and internationally.
